Engg is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems in a product-led team. The role emphasizes Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, and cloud-native architectures on AWS, with emphasis on observability, cost-savings, and compliance work as needed.

The candidate will work with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS, collaborating across engineering, product, and data science to deliver reliable, high-performance services for Fortune 500 and startup projects

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot framework.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work including compliance and maintenance.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture with data-driven validation.
• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Work with Product Manager to clarify requirements and focus on coding, testing, and documentation.
