AgileEngine is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems. The role focuses on Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, covering tooling and architecture tasks.

You'll work on compliant, cost-saving, observability work and partner with product managers and engineers to deliver high-performance, cloud-native solutions.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• MongoDB Atlas (NoSQL) proficiency.
• Aurora MySQL on AWS proficiency.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native distributed systems.
• Spring Boot framework experience.
• GraphQL (Netflix DGS) API development.
• Experience building large-scale, high-performance systems on a major cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work including compliance, cost-savings, observability, and tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and design, validate via data and experimentation.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Work with Product Manager to clarify requirements and perform mid-level design focused on coding, testing, and documentation.
