Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, while performing manual/exploratory testing. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium and AI-assisted QA is a plus, along with remote-friendly work and USDT‑backed project scopes.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
3+ years of automated testing experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Holistic quality mindset.
Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
