Job summary

Magi-K is seeking multilingual, over-the-phone interpreters for a freelance, 100% remote role. You will provide clear interpretation between languages for healthcare contexts, starting with onboarding and flexible scheduling. Immediate availability is highlighted, with monthly USD payments.

Applicants must be native in their language, possess English at B2/C1, have a wired headset and fast internet, and be eager to learn and grow professionally within a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Native language; English proficiency at B2/C1
• Experience with interpretation and medical/legal terminology is a plus
• Must have a personal computer
• Stable wired internet with minimum 5 Mbps
• A noise-canceling wired USB headset is required
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally

Your role

Your job as an Over-the-Phone interpreter involves providing clear and accurate interpretation between languages, assisting non-English speakers in various activities.

Required qualifications (Must have):

• Native in your language - Level English: B2/C1 level
• We consider as a plus: Experience in the interpretation and good knowledge of medical / legal terminology
• Personal Computer
• Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 5Mbps Download/Upload.
• A noise canceling wired USB Headsets
• Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing over the phone interpretation services.
• Imparting thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone of speakers from source language into target language to english
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
