Magi-K is hiring Dutch-English over-the-phone interpreters for freelance remote work. You will provide clear interpretation between Dutch and English, with focus on healthcare and legal terminology. Flexible schedules and immediate onboarding are available. Must have native Dutch and English at B2/C1, plus a reliable computer and fast internet. 4 Mbps minimum and a noise-cancelling headset are required.

Your job as an Over-the-Phone interpreter involves providing clear and accurate interpretation between languages, assisting non-English speakers in various activities.

Required qualifications (Must have):

• Native in Dutch - Level English: B2/C1 level
• Experience in the interpretation and good knowledge of medical / legal terminology
• Computer : Windows 10 or newer, with Pentium, or I3 processor. Minimum: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz / Recommended: i5 / i7 2.4 GHz and above.. It should have a 4 GB RAM Minimum (8GB recommended).
• Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 4Mbps Download/Upload.
• A noise canceling wired USB Headsets
• Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing over the phone interpretation services.
• Imparting thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone of speakers from source language into target language.
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
