Job summary

Siena is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own hard customer problems from diagnosis to automated fixes and prompts tuning. You will work across APIs, frontend, and backend components, often on production incidents, with direct customer interaction.

You0will improve reliability, write runbooks, design reusable tooling, and mentor teammates as the product matures. This is a remote, fully distributed role with strong emphasis on AI fluency, code reading, and building scalable automation.

Qualifications

• You solve problems end to end by tracing issues from logs to root cause and driving customer-facing resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own the hard problems end to end across APIs and integrations, customer-side JavaScript, agent behaviour, and data.
• Debug the agents and the prompts, diagnosing whether a wrong answer is due to prompt, knowledge base, config, or model, then fix accordingly.
• Build runbooks and tooling so issues dont recur, sharing learnings with the team to raise the bar.
• Close the loop to Product by surfacing patterns and delivering measurable product improvements.
• Raise the teams floor by enabling others to resolve issues more effectively.
• Know where your scope ends and escalate genuine bugs with a clean reproduction.
