Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring secure, reliable, and performant platform services across teams including data science.

You will work with engineers and product teams to implement infrastructure improvements, adopt AI-native tooling, and own critical components with strong communication and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience including service mesh tech.
• 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months AI-native SDLC usage (Claude Code/Claude Cowork).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance and bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with security in mind.
• Implement best practices to optimize the development process and efficiency.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
