Job summary
A leading hospitality organization is seeking a Security Supervisor for its Dubai property. The ideal candidate will oversee security operations, conduct patrols, coordinate with outsourced guards, and handle emergencies. Candidates should have a diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a hotel environment, technical skills in MS Office, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages is preferred. Join a team committed to guest safety and hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
- Updated certifications on First Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator certification.
- Familiarity with various security systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in controlling and coordinating security personnel activities.
- Conduct security patrol within and around the resort.
- Handle emergency cases at the resort according to policy.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure guest safety.
Skills
Education
As Security Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
Assist in controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all resort properties, guests, hosts and to follow the instructions of the Safety/Security Manager.
Conduct security patrol within and around the resort.
Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety and security procedures of the resort. Check and ensure performance of uniformed outsourced security guards.
Represent Safety/Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with resort policy.
Coordinate closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest safety and security.
Recommend to Safety/Security Manager areas of improvements in safety and security activities.
Review all security reports submitted at the end of shift to see if accurate and complete.
Inform the Safety/Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the resort.
Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
- Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
- Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various security systems. I must have updated certifications on First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator certification.
- Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
