Job description
Position: Procurement Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Contract Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for oil and gas equipment, materials, and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documents.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a stable supply chain.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Mitigate procurement risks by conducting due diligence and supplier evaluations.
