• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards in commercial kitchens.

• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and wiring diagrams.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for handling tools and equipment.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and management.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.

• Certification in electrical or refrigeration work (depending on region and job scope).
