Job Title: Project Management Engineer - MEP
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop detailed project plans outlining the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scope, key milestones, and resource requirements.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project schedule and design.

Establish timelines and oversee progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Client Interaction:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their MEP requirements and expectations are met.

Provide regular updates on project status, address client inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, designers, and support staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Ensure effective communication, resource allocation, and efficient task management within the team.

Budget and Resource Management:

Oversee the project budget, ensuring financial objectives are achieved and costs are kept under control.

Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize the success of MEP projects.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all MEP systems meet industry standards and adhere to client specifications.

Conduct regular inspections and reviews to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

Communication:

Ensure clear and consistent communication within the MEP project team and with external stakeholders, including contractors and clients.

Provide detailed updates to senior management on MEP project progress and collaborate with other project managers to ensure alignment with overall project goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in MEP project management, ideally in a leadership role.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
