Job Description

• Oversee the structural design and construction process of oil and gas plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all construction activities align with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Optimize resource allocation and productivity through strategic planning and workforce management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management within the oil and gas construction sector.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with structural design and construction methodologies specific to oil and gas facilities.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of local and international construction codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
