The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles in the Oil & Gas sector. Job description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities across the project. The role requires strong technical knowledge of QA/QC procedures, excellent coordination capabilities, and the ability to effectively interface with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and project specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all QA/QC activities related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and related procedures.
  • Interface with client QA/QC representatives to address quality concerns and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure implementation of ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC documentation requirements.
  • Track and report quality performance indicators and coordinate NCRs, CARs, and preventive actions.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Manage the flow and control of QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, material traceability, and certifications.
  • Ensure QA/QC teams are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC coordination reports to senior management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within major Oil & Gas projects, including coordination roles.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and certifications (e.g., CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI, ASNT Level II) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage QA/QC activities effectively.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Thorough understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) (Preferred).
  • Experience working with EPC contractors or in multi-disciplinary project environments (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in QA/QC software or document management systems (Preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills (Preferred).
