We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities across the project. The role requires strong technical knowledge of QA/QC procedures, excellent coordination capabilities, and the ability to effectively interface with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and project specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate all QA/QC activities related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and related procedures.
- Interface with client QA/QC representatives to address quality concerns and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and ensure implementation of ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC documentation requirements.
- Track and report quality performance indicators and coordinate NCRs, CARs, and preventive actions.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Manage the flow and control of QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, material traceability, and certifications.
- Ensure QA/QC teams are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC coordination reports to senior management.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within major Oil & Gas projects, including coordination roles.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and certifications (e.g., CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI, ASNT Level II) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage QA/QC activities effectively.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Thorough understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) (Preferred).
- Experience working with EPC contractors or in multi-disciplinary project environments (Preferred).
- Proficiency in QA/QC software or document management systems (Preferred).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills (Preferred).
