About the Role

As Production Director, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process, ensuring that all event operations are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and senior leadership to deliver seamless event experiences across the UAE and beyond.

What You'll Do

1. Lead & Manage Teams: Oversee internal and external production teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
2. Collaborate with Event Teams: Work closely with the event team to understand objectives and precise requirements.
3. Plan & Execute Logistics: Design and execute comprehensive production plans, including timelines, BOQs, and resource allocation.
4. Budget & Cost Control: Estimate, negotiate, and manage project budgets while sourcing cost-effective solutions.
5. Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Manage supplier relationships, ensure competitive bidding (minimum 3 quotes), and handle procurement.
6. Ensure Compliance & Safety: Oversee insurance, legal, health and safety obligations, ensuring all permissions are secured.
7. On-Site Management: Oversee the setup, on-site management, and post-event dismantling, ensuring smooth operations.
8. Drive Innovation: Source new technologies and anticipate industry trends to enhance operational efficiency.
9. Optimize Processes: Continuously improve internal processes, workflows, and production standards.
10. Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate communication between event, creative, and venue teams for seamless delivery.
11. Evaluate & Report: Conduct post-event evaluations and generate performance reports to senior management.
12. Global Mobility: Travel within the UAE and internationally to manage on-site inspections and event delivery.

About You

1. 10 years of experience in event production or operations management.
2. Proven track record of delivering large-scale events on time and within budget.
3. Deep understanding of production logistics, supplier management, and operational processes.
4. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective solutions.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
6. Willingness to travel as needed within the UAE and internationally.
