What Does a Laundry Supervisor Do?
As a Laundry Supervisor in Dubai, you will oversee daily laundry operations, manage staff, maintain linen standards, ensure safety compliance, and enhance guest satisfaction through consistent service quality.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?

1. Supervise outsourced laundry services and ensure quality standards are maintained
2. Monitor and maintain all laundry equipment and ensure proper chemical usage
3. Maintain par stock levels for linen and guest uniforms
4. Conduct regular inspections of linen and uniforms for cleanliness and damage
5. Ensure accurate distribution and timely flow of linen to guest areas and outlets
6. Keep records of chemical usage and prepare monthly productivity reports
7. Support peak hour laundry and housekeeping operations
8. Maintain organized and hazard-free workspaces
9. Lead daily briefings and ensure staff are informed of procedures or changes
10. Handle guest complaints professionally and follow up for satisfaction
11. Monitor inventory, conduct monthly counts, and assist in ordering supplies
12. Train, supervise, and motivate laundry staff to ensure high morale and productivity
13. Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees with HR collaboration
14. Promote sustainability initiatives and ensure proper chemical storage and use

• Diploma or certification in hospitality or housekeeping management preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in hospitality
• Proven experience in managing laundry machinery, chemical handling, and eco-friendly practices

• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment and textile care
• Proficiency in inventory software and management systems
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and chemical protocols
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment
