Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Transport Manager to oversee the transportation of students to and from our schools in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's transportation system, ensuring that it operates safely, efficiently, and within budget. The Transport Manager will also supervise and coordinate the work of drivers and other transportation staff, ensuring that they follow all necessary procedures and regulations.

Main Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the school's transportation system.
  • Manage the transportation budget and ensure that expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Supervise and train drivers and other transportation staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of school vehicles and ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Plan and schedule transportation routes and trips to ensure that students arrive at school on time and are transported safely.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transportation operations, including vehicle maintenance and repairs, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
  • Monitor the performance of the transportation system and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
  • Ensure that all transportation-related activities comply with local regulations and laws.
  • Liaise with parents and school administration to address transportation-related issues and concerns.
