A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to perform maintenance on electrical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil & gas or energy sectors. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical faults, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and mentoring junior engineers. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are provided.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Perform maintenance of electrical equipment: transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, UPS, and power distribution systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Implement RCM-based maintenance strategies.
Ensure compliance with HSE and electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API).
Conduct inspections, testing, and condition monitoring.
Prepare maintenance plans, reports, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with operations, instrumentation, and mechanical teams.
Support electrical upgrades, expansions, and modifications.
Perform RCA for repeated issues and recommend improvements.
Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of electrical maintenance experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
Strong expertise in HV/LV systems, power distribution, and electrical design tools (ETAP, AutoCAD).
Experience with hazardous area classifications and Ex-proof equipment.
Strong understanding of LOTO, PTW, and safety processes.
Excellent problem‑solving and leadership skills.
