Job summary
A leading hospitality group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to manage kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining hygiene standards. This role offers a dynamic work atmosphere in one of the city's prime locations, near iconic landmarks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef ready to step up.
Responsibilities
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badges at all times.
- Organize shifting in the section with regard to mise-en-place production and its service.
- Give tasks to Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs and check that they are carried out in the correct manner.
- Maintain good colleague relations and motivate colleagues.
- Ensure that training on a one-to-one basis has been carried out and comprehended.
- Check on a daily basis food preparation regarding portion size, quantity and quality.
- Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding Mise-en-place and food storage.
- Attend daily and monthly meetings with the Pastry Chef.
- Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment.
- Keep the section clean and tidy.
