About The Role

1. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our AI team, contributing to projects like Dynamic Pricing and Trip Dispatching. You will analyze and model data to optimize our Machine Learning systems, playing a crucial role in driving solutions and delivering value.

About The Team

1. The AI team is part of Yassir’s central Data & AI domain, responsible for data activities including Data Engineering, Data Platform management, Data Analytics, AI solutions, and MLOps infrastructure. Our diverse team aims to build state-of-the-art data and ML infrastructure, fostering a data-driven culture and automation. We value curiosity, expertise, and impact-driven work. Key Responsibilities

1. Master your scope, focusing on optimization of Pricing capabilities such as Dynamic / Surge Pricing, Discounts / Commissioning Optimization, and Personalized Pricing.
2. Identify and propose ML opportunities related to your scope and beyond.
3. Support requirements definition and project prioritization for ML initiatives.
4. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams.
5. Ensure Data Quality as a critical input for ML solutions and analytics.
6. Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis, Feature Selection, and Engineering.
7. Apply statistical and ML techniques for model training, validation, and tuning.
8. Visualize results with meaningful, actionable insights.
9. Deploy and test ML applications using MLOps infrastructure.
10. Monitor models for performance, impact, and data drift.
11. Communicate technical solutions effectively to business teams.
12. Maintain technical documentation and improve team collaboration.
13. Promote Data Culture, share knowledge, and participate in team building.

Key Requirements - Essential

1. Masters or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, ML, Operational Research, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, with solid skills in Math/Stats/ML and Software Development.
2. At least 2 years of industry experience with proficient Python and SQL coding.
3. Understanding of software engineering concepts like profiling, optimization, scalability, testing, and cost management.
4. Experience with Pricing/Economics modeling techniques; Economics or Econometrics background is a plus.
5. Strong statistical knowledge, including testing and causal analysis.
6. Analytical problem-solving skills and an engineering mindset for robust solutions.
7. Experience with Python libraries, BI tools, and cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
8. Knowledge of the ML model lifecycle.
9. Excellent communication skills in English.
10. Positive attitude, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills.
11. Self-motivated with good project management skills.

Nice to have

1. Experience in On-demand, Mobility, or Financial services sectors.
2. Experience working on ML features for digital products like apps and websites.
