Job summary
A leading gas and energy firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced technician to install and maintain AMI smart gas meters in residential and commercial settings. The role requires a diploma in a technical discipline and significant field experience in gas distribution. Responsibilities include conducting leak detection, pressure testing, and supporting emergency response activities. Candidates with gas-related certifications and familiarity with HSE procedures will be preferentially considered. Salary will be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related technical discipline.
- Gas-related training or certifications are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of AMI smart meters, EVCs, and PRMS operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance of AMI smart gas meters.
- Conduct leak detection, tightness testing, and pressure monitoring.
- Assist in emergency response activities including gas leak isolation.
