Automotive Technician Electrical Vehicle - Recruitment Campaign India (Bangalore)

To provide expert repair and maintenance services for electric vehicles (EVs), ensuring compliance with manufacturer-approved repair techniques and industry standards.

  • Collect job orders, tools, and materials required to perform repairs and maintenance on Electric Vehicle, following the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
  • Conduct accurate fault diagnostics and utilize time effectively to complete repairs. Notify the Team Leader of any delays, including unavailability of parts or other obstacles.
  • Obtain prior authorization for any additional repairs. Ensure all parts are booked to the repair order and, if applicable, return removed parts to the parts department in their original packaging for audit and credit purposes. For retail jobs, store old parts inside the vehicle, excluding items that could stain the interior trim/carpet (such as batteries).
  • Maintain personal tools, ensure workstations are clean, and comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge by completing online training courses and attending relevant classroom sessions.
  • Safeguard personal tools and immediately report any breakages or accidents to the Team Leader/Supervisor or the Tool Room for replacement.
  • Ensure consistent efficiency and productivity, maintaining a performance level above 100%.
  • Accurately clock in and out within the system and complete repair order write-ups as per company protocols.
  • Properly store unused parts according to company procedures. Dispose of used parts in an environmentally friendly manner.
  • Be available for overtime if required to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction, as directed by the Team Leader.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) – Certified Auto Technician Course (2-year vocational program).
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance and repair.
  • Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues on electric vehicles.
