We have an urgent requirement for a Technical Business Analyst in the Fintech domain, with experience in Open Banking frameworks, for one of our banking clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all business requirements are adequately captured from the identification of a business need and maintaining consistency in requirement management throughout the Agile development lifecycle. This role requires an excellent understanding of Fintech work culture and Open Banking frameworks, involving interaction with various FinTechs to understand the latest trends. The analyst will then develop business proposals, present the best available Open Banking solutions, and recommend onboarding FinTechs for development.

Role Purpose

• Onboarding Fintechs to provide Open Banking frameworks and solutions
• Documenting customer-centric business solutions
• Participating in requirements gathering workshops with senior stakeholders
• Understanding end-to-end user journeys to provide business solutions
• Learning organizational platforms to support implementation approaches for customer-facing web applications, middleware integration, and backend system architecture
• Supporting the Product Owner in writing effective product backlog items and maintaining prioritized backlogs
• Assisting in story refinement and sprint planning activities
• Collaborating with product owners and technical leads to prioritize MVPs in sprint cycles
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and using tools like Jira for communication
• Encouraging team self-organization and participation in organizational Agile activities
• Supporting automation and process improvements within the team

Key Accountabilities of the Role

Support the BA in documenting business solutions, contribute to requirements workshops, understand user journeys, and support system implementation approaches. Assist in backlog management and collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.

Technical Skills and Competencies
