A dynamic accounting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The role involves handling Xero software, reconciling payment data, and supporting financial reporting. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong Excel skills. This position offers a hybrid work model along with comprehensive benefits including accommodation, visa support, and daily meals.

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial summaries.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure prompt supplier payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns to the UAE Federal Tax Authority.
- Ensure proper VAT treatment on all transactions and stay updated on UAE corporate tax requirements.
- Monitor office spending, purchasing, and stock management.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to UAE financial compliance and reporting laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE, ideally within an SME or F&B business.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping, and financial reporting principles.
- Experience reconciling Shopify and Stripe preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Fluent English communication (written and spoken) required.
- High integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling company accounts.
- UAE Driving Licence preferred.
- Hybrid role – majority of work can be done remotely with regular in-office meetings.
- Working hours : 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, 6 days per week
