Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a Warranty Management and Site Support specialist to lead warranty obligations across major projects in the UAE.

You will act as the primary client contact, manage claims within contract times, and maintain warranty logs and progress reports. You will perform technical investigation and RCA with engineering and OEM teams, coordinate with DEWA/TAQA/ADNOC, supervise site activities, ensure safe warranty execution, and deliver periodic performance updates to keep customer

Qualifications

GIS substations (132kV, 220kV, 400kV preferred)
TAQA Competency in PLANT- GIS, Transformer & Auxiliary Systems
Power transformers and reactors
GIS switchgear and circuit breakers
Protection relays and control systems
Cable systems and associated accessories
Battery and DC systems
Testing and commissioning procedures
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies

Responsibilities

Warranty Management: manage all warranty obligations for DEWA, TAQA, ADNOC, SEWA substation, DRPC projects and Containerized station; act as primary point of contact for warranty issues; record, track, and close warranty claims within contractual response times; maintain warranty logs and progress reports.
Technical Investigation & Resolution: investigate equipment failures, defects, and abnormalities; lead RCA activities and prepare investigation reports; coordinate with engineering, commissioning, quality, and OEM teams; verify corrective actions.
Site Support: attend substations for troubleshooting, prepare method statements, obtain permits to work; supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and site mobilization; manage local purchasing within limits; ensure safe warranty execution per utility standards.
Client Coordination: interface with DEWA, TAQA, consultants and end users; participate in technical meetings on equipment performance and warranty concerns; provide status updates and warranty performance reports; ensure high customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
