Job summary

Hitachi Energy Systems LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled engineer to manage warranty obligations for major substations and projects. You will act as the primary contact for warranty issues, track and close claims, and lead root cause analyses with cross-functional teams.

Site support includes troubleshooting, commissioning, and coordinating with DEWA, TAQA, and end users to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

Experience with GIS and AIS substations (132kV, 220kV, 400kV preferred) and power transformer equipment.
Knowledge of protection relays, control systems, and commissioning procedures.
Experience in coordinating with DEWA, TAQA, and other clients for warranty and field service.
Strong RCA capabilities and ability to coordinate with multiple engineering teams.
Willingness to travel to substations for site work and investigations.

Responsibilities

Manage warranty obligations for DEWA, TAQA, ADNOC, SEWA substations and related projects.
Act as primary contact for warranty issues and track/close claims within required times.
Lead RCA activities and coordinate with engineering, commissioning, quality, and OEM teams.
Attend substations for troubleshooting, site support, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate site mobilization and supervise repair, testing, and recommissioning tasks.
