Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SYSTEMS LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced engineering professional to manage warranty obligations for DEWA and other clients. You will lead root cause analyses, coordinate with GIS and protection teams, and supervise on-site troubleshooting at substations.

The role requires hands-on testing, commissioning, and field support, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely issue resolution in a project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS and AIS substations at 132kV, 220kV, 400kV levels.
• Competency in PLANT- GIS, Transformer & Auxiliary Systems.
• Experience with testing and commissioning procedures for substations.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage all warranty obligations for substations and projects.
• Lead RCA activities and prepare technical investigation reports.
• Attend substations for troubleshooting and technical support.
• Interface with clients and provide periodic warranty performance updates.
