Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed orthopedic evaluations and diagnostic procedures to develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of orthopedic surgeries including but not limited to fracture repairs, joint surgeries, and surgical interventions for congenital abnormalities.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care ensuring the overall well-being and recovery of patients.
• Collaborate effectively with other veterinary professionals to provide holistic care and improve patient outcomes.
• Educate pet owners on treatment options, recovery protocols, and preventative orthopedic care.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in veterinary orthopedics to enhance practice standards.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree recognized by MOCCAE.
• Must possess a valid veterinary license from MOCCAE to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in veterinary orthopedics.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
