The British Embassy in Dubai has a vacancy for a full-time UK Trade & Investment Team Co-ordinator for the UAE. The Co-ordinator reports to the Deputy Director of UK Trade & Investment in Dubai – a team which is responsible for supporting UK companies looking to develop their export potential in the UAE.
UKTI is the UK Government department that helps UK-based companies succeed in the global economy. UKTI’s aim is to enhance the competitiveness of companies in the UK through overseas trade, and to attract a high level of quality foreign direct investment into the UK.
The successful candidate will work closely with all UKTI colleagues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and will have responsibility for several coordination roles within the team as follows:
The Embassy offers an attractive working environment and remuneration package for this role, including: salary of AED 12,723 per month, inclusive of all allowances, Band 14; five weeks vacation each year; free on-site parking and free access to on-site swimming pool, gymnasium and sports facilities.
Conditioned working hours are 38 hours per week. Standard working hours are from 07.30 am until 2.30 pm Sunday to Thursday. The position holder should be flexible in their approach to hours worked as these will be dictated by operational needs.
The successful candidates will be required to undergo security vetting procedures.
