Structural Inspector - Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented immediately available Structural Inspector - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of construction projects through comprehensive on-site inspections and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections of structural elements in building projects throughout Dubai.
• Verify compliance with local building codes, regulations, and approved plans specific to Dubai and the UAE.
• Identify structural defects, safety hazards, and non-compliant work with a keen analytical eye.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records using efficient data management systems.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision.
• Provide well-reasoned recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
• Stay updated on local building codes, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Organize and prioritize multiple inspection tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Experience in both Concrete construction and Steel Construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field.
• Knowledge of regulations, particularly those specific to Dubai and the UAE.
• Proficiency in structural inspection techniques and methodologies.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials and methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills for efficient report writing and data management.
• Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations in Dubai.
• Familiarity with international structural inspection standards.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and construction environments.
