Job summary

MDS for Computer Systems (MDS CS) is seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to partner with the Sales team on technical strategies and solution design. The role focuses on account penetration, RFPs/RFQs, and delivering compelling demonstrations and BOMs to advance opportunities.

The successful candidate will bridge technical expertise with sales objectives, coordinate PoCs, and support revenue growth while building strong partner and customer relationships in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in PCs, laptops, printers, workstations, and related client computing products.
• Experience selling HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, ASUS preferred.
• Based in UAE: Dubai or Abu Dhabi preferred; candidates outside UAE may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in technical/solutions design of the company products/services.
• Work with the Sales team to develop and implement account penetration strategies and achieve targets.
• Create specific accounts for product(s), service(s) and sales plans.
• Collaborate with Sales in qualifying opportunities and presenting technical proposals and designs.
• Lead PoCs and RFPs and close opportunities from a pre-sales perspective.
• Build relationships with partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Lead technical sales calls and support revenue generation.
• Manage adoption and value generation of products/services within customer IT infrastructure.
• Complete required pre-sales documentation accurately.
• Develop content, train and support partners and customers.
• Respond to after-hours support queries during rotations.
