Job summary

Carrier Global in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UAE National Key Accounts Manager for the Government Sector to lead strategic relationships with government accounts and position Carrier as a trusted partner in intelligent climate and energy solutions. The role emphasizes aligning with government objectives and delivering customer value.

The position requires 5–10 years of relevant experience in key account management, strong knowledge of the UAE market, and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Mechanical Engineering background is preferred.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market and government sector.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes, stakeholder management, and public-sector business development.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in key account management, strategic sales, business development, or government relations.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Management: Implement the strategic account management and business development strategy for government accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and achievement of assigned KPIs.
• Government Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with UAE government entities, officials, agencies, and key stakeholders to strengthen engagement and identify business opportunities.
• Business Development: Identify, develop, and pursue strategic opportunities within the UAE government sector to drive sustainable revenue growth and expand Carrier’s market presence.
• Policy and Regulatory Awareness: Monitor relevant government policies, regulatory developments, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build and strengthen strategic alliances with government entities and other key stakeholders to support collaboration and long-term business growth.
• Customer Engagement: Represent Carrier in government meetings, industry events, and strategic forums, communicating Carrier’s capabilities and value proposition effectively.
