Job summary

RSA Cold Chain is seeking a Commercial Manager – Business Development (Hunter) in the UAE. You will drive new customer acquisition in cold chain warehousing and 3PL, while also overseeing profitability of the existing portfolio through strategic pricing, contract management and account development.

You will build a strong sales pipeline, lead negotiations, and coordinate with Operations, Finance and Customer Service to onboard new clients and maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in BD, sales or commercial roles within cold chain, warehousing, contract logistics or 3PL in the UAE.
• Proven success in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of UAE and GCC cold chain and logistics markets.
• Experience in pricing, contract negotiation, margin management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a new business strategy to achieve customer acquisition, revenue and occupancy targets.
• Identify and win customers across food, retail, FMCG and other temperature-sensitive sectors.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Develop integrated warehousing, transport, distribution and value-added services.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, tenders and RFQ responses.
• Lead pricing and contract negotiations to protect margins and define service terms.
• Manage customer and contract profitability, renewals and account expansion.
• Build senior customer relationships and conduct business reviews to address retention risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Customer Service to ensure feasible commitments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and capacity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records and report on pipeline, revenue, margin, occupancy and retention.
• Mentor sales and customer service team members.
