Job summary

Leading Architectural Practice is seeking a Commercials Manager / Bid Manager to drive end-to-end bid lifecycle for architectural projects, from RFPs to final submission. You will collaborate with design teams to craft compelling narratives and manage pricing and risk.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in InDesign, with strong communication skills and a track record of delivering high-quality bid documentation under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience managing bids, proposals, or commercial operations in architectural, engineering, or multidisciplinary design environments.
• Strong understanding of contract structures, fee negotiations, and competitive bidding strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Bid Management: lead the full cycle of PQQs, RFPs and tender submissions for architectural projects.
• Develop commercial strategy: review tender documents, pricing, and terms aligned with business goals and risk guidelines.
• Content Creation & Storytelling: collaborate with designers to write, edit, and curate narrative content, case studies, and methodologies.
• Process & Governance: establish bid processes, libraries, and templates to streamline submissions.
