Job summary

GAC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a dynamic Business Development professional to drive revenue and expand the client base. You will handle quotations, develop weekly visit plans, and collaborate across finance and operations to optimize cash flow and credit approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years in BD, a related degree, and a solid network of potential clients in logistics. A strong track record in B2B and distribution is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in business development.
• Diploma or bachelor degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Admin, Marketing or related field.
• Strong client base is an advantage.
• Knowledge of 3PL, warehousing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal operating income target.
• Promptly send quotations to clients and follow up diligently on all quotations.
• Prepare weekly sales visit plan and enter visit details in GAC Sales system.
• Ensure credit approvals are in place for all credit clients.
• Assist Finance in maintaining receivables from credit accounts within terms.
• Pass on sales leads to sales teams and overseas GAC Companies and agents.
• Capitalize on all leads and convert them into business.
• Generate leads, manage full sales cycle, and meet/exceed targets.
