Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH invites a Solutions Engineer II to join our Presales Team in Dubai. You will own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process, craft compelling demos, and work with sales leadership to align customer initiatives with Akamai’s cloud and security platform.

You will partner with engineering to become a subject-matter expert, delivering architectures and proofs-of-concept for enterprise accounts across web, security, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Background in technical pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing architect roles supporting enterprise accounts.
• Solid grasp of internet architectures, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with web security technologies (WAF, DDoS, Bot Management) and Zero Trust architectures.
• Ability to explain complex network and security transformations to technical and executive audiences.
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end technical pre-sales process, demonstrating Akamai's solutions to business problems.
• Architect and execute product demos, customer analysis reports, and POC trials.
• Partner with sales and customer leadership to align initiatives with Akamai capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering to become a Subject Matter Expert and share insights.
• Deliver accurate architectures and proposals for complex web, security, and cloud deployments.
