About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Swift Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications including Apple Watch apps. This role requires deep expertise in Swift and strong knowledge of the iOS and watchOS ecosystem and the ability to deliver scalable, secure and high-performance mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS and watchOS platforms using Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define design and ship new features.
• Develop Apple Watch (watchOS) applications ensuring smooth integration with iOS apps.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest iOS/watchOS frameworks, tools, and trends.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and solid understanding of Objective-C (as a plus).
• Proven experience in developing Apple Watch (watchOS) applications and integrating them with iOS apps.
• Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Location, AVFoundation, etc.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, GraphQL, and WebSockets for data integration.
• Strong expertise in iOS design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and ability to implement pixel-perfect UI/UX.
• Experience with unit testing (XCTest), UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Solid knowledge of App Store submission process, provisioning profiles, and certificates.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to SwiftUI and Combine framework.
• Experience with push notifications, in-app purchases, and background services.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, Azure) for mobile integrations.
• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile frameworks (Flutter, React Native) as an added advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in iOS/Swift development would be a plus.
