Job summary

A technology solutions provider in the UAE is seeking a Specialist Tester to ensure that developed solutions conform to requirements through System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Selenium Webdriver, Core Java, and a solid background in functional and automation testing. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, and good communication skills, including Arabic reading. This role involves both testing execution and automation framework maintenance.

Job description

The Specialist Tester is a dedicated member of the Core Delivery Team, reporting to the Lead with a dotted line to the Testing Discipline. This role is accountable for executing bothSystem Integration Testing (SIT)andUser Acceptance Testing (UAT). The primary goal is to ensure the developed solution conforms to requirements, meets thedefinition of done, fits well with existing systems, and is fully acceptable to business teams. The role requires a strong technical background with a key focus onautomation.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

Testing Execution & Quality Assurance

• ConductSIT & UAT assessmentsof the developed features/functionalities.
• Complete both System Integration and User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure the developed solution'sconformityand that it meets thedefinition of done.
• Ensure adherence is100% compliant to the testing framework.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the data captured in theTest management tools are accurate and concise.
• Ensuretime deliveryis maintained for all testing deliverables.
• Perform Test Execution –System Integration Testing and Regression Testing.
• ProvideDefect ReportingandTest Closure Report.

Automation & Technical Expertise

• Maintain theautomation frameworkas per requirement.
• Dedicate 20% of time to theGuild set up by the Testing CoE.
• Adhere to theAutomation transformation KPIgoverned by the Test CoE.
• GAP identification in Automation capabilitymust be timeously highlighted, owned, and driven with the Testing CoE.
• Possess aStrong Technical backgroundin Development and coding practices.

Domain Knowledge & Deliverables

• PossessKnowledge about IPO/Securities/Crypto systemsand related flows.
• HaveBanking and Financial Services domain knowledgespecific to Investment Banking.
• Deliver the following test artifacts:
• Test Strategy Document
• Test Scenario Identification
• Requirement Traceability Matrix
• Test Case Design
• Test Data Requirement and Setup
• Daily Status Report

Technical Expertise

• Strong expertiseinSelenium WebdriverandCore Java.
• Good Understanding of testNG, HTML, CSS & Jss.
• Knowledge ofSVN/CVS, Xpath, xml, java scriptexperience.
• Good understanding ofversion controllikeSVN, GIT, Bitbucket.
• Exposure to working onAgile projects.
• Exposure toHP ALM and Jira Tool.
• Ability tolearn new Testing Tool quickly.

Experience

• 3+ years of experienceinFunctional Testing(Manual and Automation).
• 2 years experienceinDigital Transformation and Agile Ways of Working.

Education & Skills
