Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Sales Engineer – BMS, Controls to drive growth through service contracts, retrofit projects and digital solutions for major accounts. You will work from Abu Dhabi and engage customers with techno-commercial proposals, leveraging the BMS product portfolio.

Based in the UAE, you will collaborate with pre-sales teams, focus on AMC contracts and control optimization, and build robust relationships with key stakeholders to expand the installed base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years selling maintenance & service contracts for Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proven ability to grow accounts by generating new business and pull-throughs.
• Valid UAE driving license required.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

What you will do

The Senior Sales Engineer - BMS, Controls is a key role contributing to growth and managing major accounts reporting directly to Sales Manager – Controls , UAE

Based in Abu Dhabi, the role shall emphasize in bringing in business through AMC contracts, Pull through &, retrofit jobs and control optimization and digital solution selling to drive the growth of business for Service Department for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Controls & Digital solutions.

How you will do it

• Compliance: Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliances


• Market Strategy: Differentiate Johnson Controls through market understanding and sales strategies.


• Customer Engagement: Develop solutions for customer challenges using BMS product portfolio.


• Business Development: Focus on AMC contracts, retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling.


• Stakeholder Mapping: Identify strategic accounts to grow business within JCI installed base.


• Collaboration: Work with internal pre-sales teams to create techno-commercial solutions.


• Proposal Preparation: Create technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant experience.


• 5-7 years in selling maintenance & service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects focusing on Building management systems


• Track Record: Proven ability to maintain and expand accounts by generating new business and Pull-throughs


• License: Valid UAE Driving License.
