Job summary

Johnson Controls in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled BMS Technician to join our Aftermarket Controls team. You will deliver service maintenance and retrofit projects for Building Management Systems across commercial sectors, ensuring reliability, energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will program, commission and support DDC controllers, sensors and field devices, report to the Operations Supervisor, and participate in safety and handover activities.

Qualifications

• 3 Years Diploma in Electrical /Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in BMS or HVAC system installation commissioning and servicing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints diagrams and technical documents.
• Experience handling emergency breakdowns and service calls.
• Skilled in preparing and managing Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules and reports.
• Proficient in creating regular Planned Preventive Maintenance reports schedules and ensure all the PPMs have been completed as per schedule and contract terms.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

What you will do

As aBMS Technician youll play a key role in delivering high-quality service maintenance and retrofit projects for Building Management Systems (BMS) across commercial retail and hospitality sectors. Based in Abu Dhabi youll be part of a dynamic team focused on comfort energy efficiency and customer satisfaction reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor Aftermarket Controls Segment.

• Experience with Johnson Controls systems (e.g. Metasys).
• Knowledge of Maintenance Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software.
• Knowledge of programming languages like CCT (Control Commissioning Tool) and FBD (Function Block Diagram).
• Background in facility management operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Mainspring software.
