Job summary

Worley Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement delivery for major projects across oil & gas and energy sectors. You will coordinate subcontracting, materials, and services, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

You will translate project needs into procurement plans, manage bids, and lead a team to optimize supplier performance while aligning with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain or related discipline.
• Approximately 20 years of supply chain and procurement experience.
• At least 5 years as Project Procurement Manager with a well-established EPC contractor in the Middle East.
• Proven delivery experience on large-scale oil and gas, industrial, chemical, conventional energy, or green-energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement delivery for major projects, ensuring third-party services, materials, equipment, and services meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Develop and maintain the procurement plan, contracting strategy, bidder strategy, procurement schedule, and vendor list.
• Translate project management and engineering requirements into clear procurement, quality, inspection, documentation and expediting priorities.
• Coordinate and expedite third-party drawings and technical documentation through desk expediting.
• Monitor pre-award and post-award status and provide progress reporting with mitigation recommendations.
• Prepare and oversee tender and bid documentation, vendor clarifications, evaluations, and client approvals.
