Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Procurement Engineer for our Abu Dhabi operations within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on leading procurement planning, execution, and subcontracting for major projects, coordinating with FEED to EPC phases and ensuring compliance with project schedules and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical
• Minimum 5 years in a similar senior procurement role on large projects
• Experience with FEED/EPC projects and GCC/ADNOC preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review procurement plans and procedures.
• Ensure Contractor develops compliant procurement plans and subcontracting procedures.
• Review and approve Contractor’s procurement organization chart and resources.
• Monitor compliance with the agreement and project schedule.
• Coordinate expediting, inspection, shipping, and related procurement activities.
• Provide regular procurement status updates and risk mitigations.
