Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) seeks a senior leader to manage large account portfolios in wholesale banking from its Abu Dhabi base. You will originate opportunities, develop term sheets, and lead a team to grow client relationships while overseeing risk and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive banking experience, strong communication, and team mentorship, with emphasis on KYC/AML adherence and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline required.
• 12+ years of experience in Banking.
• 8+ years in a senior team management role.
• Deep knowledge of Wholesale Banking or investment banking.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage large account portfolios and sensitive client relationships.
• Originate new business opportunities and develop term sheets and information memorandums.
• Conduct financial and market analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage credit, market, and operational risk aspects of transactions.
• Maintain high client satisfaction and NPS scores.
• Lead, mentor, and coach team members to ensure career growth.
• Ensure compliance with KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive day-to-day administrative and transactional activities for the team.
