Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a senior banking leader to manage strategic client relationships in Retail & Consumer Goods, originate deals, and oversee risk, KYC, and compliance. You will draft market-ready documents and guide a high-caliber team to ensure growth and strong credit quality.

The role requires deep wholesale/investment banking knowledge, a track record in leadership, and a capability to deliver integrated financial solutions with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in Banking.
• 8+ years in a senior team management role.
• Deep knowledge of Wholesale or Investment Banking with Retail & Consumer Goods exposure.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, trade finance, and treasury products.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with large strategic clients in the Retail & Consumer Goods segment.
• Originate new business opportunities and drive revenue targets.
• Draft Term Sheets, Information Memorandums, and Mandate letters.
• Examine and resolve credit, market, and operational risk aspects of transactions.
• Maintain credit quality of the client portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and coach team members to ensure career growth and succession.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated financial solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and manage KYC/compliance requirements.
