Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking a Senior IT Support Officer to deliver high-quality IT support across the Middle East, with a focus on Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You will handle incidents, manage user access, and support end-user devices while coordinating with regional and global teams.

The role requires a decade of IT experience, strong Microsoft 365 and Azure AD skills, plus a proactive, safety- and security-conscious mindset. Hybrid work options and broad regional exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in IT support, desktop support or infrastructure.
• Experience in professional services, engineering, consultancy, or multinational organisations is desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Experience supporting laptops, mobiles, printers, conferencing tech and meeting room solutions.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class IT support to employees in the region with focus on Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM platforms with SLA adherence.
• Escalate complex issues to Global IT teams and vendors as needed.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and professional support.
• Support on-site IT services and regional remote support.
• Assist with office moves, technology refreshes, and meeting room tech.
