Job summary

Buro Happold in Dubai seeks a Senior IT Support Officer to deliver frontline IT support across the Middle East, focusing on Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, manage incidents, and support end-user devices and services.

We require a degree in IT or related field and 10+ years in IT support or infrastructure, with strong Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure AD and networking knowledge. Hybrid working and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
10+ years in IT support, desktop support or infrastructure roles.
Experience in professional services, engineering, consultancy or multinational environments desirable.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure AD/Entra ID.
Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices and meeting room solutions.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and wireless tech.
Experience with IT ticketing systems and cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline IT support across the Middle East with focus on Dubai/Abu Dhabi.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
Manage incidents via IT Service Management platform and meet SLAs.
Escalate complex issues to Global IT teams and vendors.
Maintain a customer-focused approach with timely, professional support.
Support end-user computing, devices, software installations and patch management.
Assist with office moves, technology refresh programs and network infrastructure.
Contribute to security, audits and compliance activities.
