Job summary

A leading airport authority in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets. This role involves managing financial activities related to fixed assets and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Responsibilities include overseeing asset management, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and maintaining robust financial controls. Candidates should have at least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in fixed assets management, along with a degree in Accounting or Finance. The position offers a full-time schedule and is critical for financial integrity within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience focused on fixed assets management.
• Experience in capital projects and construction accounting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset recording and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure timely capitalization of assets and projects.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with the PPE module.
• Review financial impact of accounting entries and report variances.
