Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role
  • Pre and post contract commercial support.
  • Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs.
  • Review of interim valuations and payment certificates.
  • Change Management.
  • Review of variations and preparation of recommendations.
  • Preparation and review of estimates.
  • Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions.
  • Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
  • Assisting in preparation of progress / cost reports.
  • Reporting to Project Director on all commercial issues.
  • Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
  • Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
About you
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognized University.
  • Relevant Experience in Pre and post contract, Commercial Processes, strong admin and QAQC reviewing skills, managing change control process, client facing, knowledge of local market would be a preferable.
  • Min 15+ years in pre and post-contract (change management is essential) relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management.
  • MRICS mandatory.
  • Experience of managing teams and client facing.
  • Measurement and quantification of building and infrastructure works.
  • Cost estimating of building and infrastructure elements.
  • Must have previous experience of FIDIC Contracts.
  • Project experience must be broad and include Hospitality, Residential, Leisure and Infrastructure.
  • Must have consultant and / or client background for minimum of 3 years.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years Middle East experience.
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost-X or similar is preferable.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
