Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute country-specific business development strategies across the Middle East and Africa.
- Identify new distribution opportunities for Amazon consumer subscription products.
- Prioritize strategic markets, partner segments, and commercial opportunities based on growth potential.
- Build a qualified pipeline of telecommunications companies and other prospective distribution partners.
- Lead partnership activity from initial contact and opportunity assessment through negotiation and contract signature.
- Develop compelling commercial propositions that align Amazon products with partner ecosystems.
- Negotiate complex distribution, subscription, marketing, and commercial partnership agreements.
- Own existing strategic partner accounts and maintain strong relationships with senior executives.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and other structured partner-performance discussions.
- Monitor partnership performance, customer acquisition, revenue contribution, and operational delivery.
- Identify opportunities to optimize, expand, renew, or renegotiate existing agreements.
- Develop new business models that support sustainable subscriber and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with Amazon Product, Prime, Retail, Finance, Legal, Tax, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Ensure partnership strategies reflect the requirements of relevant internal stakeholder businesses.
- Lead internal approvals, commercial reviews, and due-diligence processes.
- Prepare clear business documents, financial assessments, approval papers, and executive recommendations.
- Confirm that proposed agreements meet commercial, legal, operational, and strategic requirements.
- Manage complex transaction timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder decisions.
- Coordinate with other Amazon business development teams to leverage established relationships.
- Present a unified Amazon proposition to external partners across the region.
- Balance the requirements of multiple Amazon departments during partnership development.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders at senior organizational levels.
- Develop strategies that support executive decision-making and regional business priorities.
- Establish scalable processes for partnership sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and management.
- Coordinate cross-functional programs and release schedules related to new partnership launches.
- Track signed agreements through implementation and commercial activation.
- Identify partnership risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and subscription distribution models.
- Represent Amazon professionally in senior partner meetings and negotiations.
- Drive measurable commercial value through new agreements and account optimization.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience in go-to-market strategy, business development, sales, or consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategies that influence leadership decisions.
- Experience managing programs across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Strong capability in building processes and coordinating implementation schedules.
- Proven experience influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing, negotiating, and executing corporate or commercial transactions.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate complex partnership opportunities.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and executive-level partner relationships.

- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is advantageous.
