Job Purpose
To Lead and Supervise the new car sales team of Volkswagen for both SZR and Rashidiya Showrooms. Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives while ensuring excellent customer experience in the showrooms. Monitor sales processes and compliance with company standards and coordinate with management on sales performance and reporting.
Accountabilities
Business Development
- Manage and oversee the showroom team, ensuring they provide excellent customer service, meet & exceed sales targets for both SZR and Rashidiya branches, increase test drive percentages and improve sales conversion ratios.
- Increase Customer Satisfaction / Increase CEM % / and pass all Mystery Shopping exercises.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service from greeting to post-sale, assisting customers with inquiries, and providing product information.
- Assist the sales team with lead generation, follow-ups, and closing deals to achieve departmental sales targets.
- Manage the sales Funnel and ensure it is properly implemented.
- Team Performance Evaluation, effectively manage and motivate the showroom team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Manage appointments with the LMT and ensure they are fairly distributed to the sales team.
- Ensure adherence & compliance with policies, procedures, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values
Operational Requirements
- Showroom Presentation & Showroom Etiquette: Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming showroom environment, ensuring that vehicles are properly displayed, silent Salesman is always updated and a proper rotation of all models on the showroom floor.
- Manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of the vehicle and its controls.
- Ensure that all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively when preparing Sales Consultants Files.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, product and planning, etc... on all relevant sales matters
- Organize and supervise test drives, ensuring vehicles are prepared and customers are guided throughout the process
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, providing insights into sales performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing support and training to staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Manage and coordinate employee schedules / rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours to optimize sales opportunities.
- Manage the reception team, interns of schedule, walk-in traffic management and distribution to the team, providing daily showroom traffic reports.
Personal Development
- Engage in continuous professional development; keep fully up to date with new products launches by the principal.
- Attend all trainings required from ANA and AVMW perspective
- Arrange an annual appraisal with your line manager in accordance with the company’s appraisal process.
- Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes, cost savings and revenue increases.

Experience
- Automotive Sales Experience as a supervisory role.
- Managed a team of 20 employees plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage showroom operations efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
