Job summary

OCTOHUB Logistics in Dubai seeks experienced Sales Executives to strengthen the commercial team. Ideal candidates have hands-on sea freight forwarding experience, including FCL and LCL shipments, to drive business growth and manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, coordinating with shipping lines and internal teams, and maintaining CRM data for visibility. Fluent English and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in sea freight forwarding, ocean freight sales, or sea freight sales support.
• Demonstrated success in ocean freight sales (FCL/LCL) is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and sea freight documentation.
• Fluency in English is required.

• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs and internal pricing teams to obtain competitive rates and negotiate service agreements.
• Manage sea freight inquiries from customers and prospects.
• Handle customer documentation and follow up on inquiries, bookings, shipments, and service requests.
• Maintain CRM records, sales trackers, and pipeline updates for management reporting.

About the Role

We are hiring experienced Sales Executives to strengthen our commercial team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience in sea freight forwarding, including FCL and LCL shipments. The successful candidates will play a key role in driving business growth, managing customer relationships, preparing commercial proposals and ensuring seamless coordination between clients, shipping lines and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of sea freight solutions, including FCL, LCL and project cargo.
• Generate new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
• Support customers by understanding their logistics requirements and developing tailored ocean freight solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals and pricing sheets based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs and internal pricing teams to obtain competitive rates and negotiate service agreements.

• Monitor sales opportunities, report progress to management and contribute to achieving commercial targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in sea freight forwarding, ocean freight sales, or sea freight sales support.
• Demonstrated success in ocean freight sales (FCL/LCL) is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial understanding of ocean freight routings, container pricing, carrier communication, and rate negotiations with shipping lines.
• Experience preparing quotations, coordinating pricing, and supporting end-to-end sales activities.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and sea freight documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
